Will is tired of being denied many of his constant requests and desires.
Will: Why don't we have very much money?
Mom: Honey, it's not really so much that we don't have money. It's just that we're trying to be extra careful with our money right now, while Dad is starting his full-time business.
Will: But Mom! You have *THAT WHOLE JAR* of quarters in your closet!
(A discussion of the banking system, mortgages, and the dangers of credit card debt insued. No, really, it did. Just ask Will.)

I can't wait to ask Will. I'm sure Kingston will say something about credit card debt soon also! It seems what Will hears soon comes out of Kingston's mouth! :)
Whoa. That's intense! I wish life were so easy as to rely on the jar of quarters...
This reminds me of a story my parents tell about answering my brother's questions about inflation was he was 4ish and he said, "It's kind of like a circle." Circle? Vicious cycle?
When I was little and my mom told me we didn't have enough money for something I told her to write a check. Clearly pre debit card.
