Just remember...

Will is learning to write and likes to practice. On a craft stick, he has written "Will Sophie Oats" and on the back "Will Sophie Honey", because he was copying words off his granola bar wrapper. He is showing it to me so I can read what he's written.

Mom: Will... Sophie... Dats?

Will flips the stick over.

Mom: Oh... Will, Sophie, Honey. The other side must say "Oats", not "Dats". I got confused and thought the O was a D.

Will: It's OK, Mom... I've gotten confused about that before too. Just remember, a D is a line with a big curve, and an O is just a circle!

How sweet that he was so patient with you! We could all learn a thing or two from him...and not just how letters are shaped!
Love, MIMI
